Barb Reynolds, who touched the lives of many with her kindness, heartfelt laughter, and generous spirit, passed away peacefully on April 2nd, 2025. Her final book, Quality of Life, comprised of sixty-two poignant, loving, and sometimes humorous poems, takes her readers on a journey from the point of her diagnosis with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) to her decision to embrace a chosen peaceful passing in Switzerland.
From a young age, poet Barb Reynolds had a strong need to understand why people behave the way they do, and this is at the heart of her writing. About why she loves poetry, Barb says: "Poetry has been the only language I've known that can access the deepest feelings– to unearth them, name them, pick them apart. And I like the sense of community that is created by one stranger relating to a poem created in solitude by another." Full Bio
